Does my Vector license cover sub-accounts on the same broker login?

In most cases, yes — Vector strategies running on the same NinjaTrader installation will work across the broker sub-accounts you have under the same login. The license is tied to your installation, not to each individual broker account.

What this means in practice

• Prop firm clients with multiple eval or funded accounts under the same prop firm login: the strategies you have installed will work across those accounts without any additional license step on the Vector side.
• Cash clients with sub-accounts under the same broker login (IBKR, Alpaca, Tradovate, etc.): same — strategies work across those sub-accounts.

When it's different

If you're using a completely separate NinjaTrader installation (e.g., a new VPS, a different machine) — that installation has its own license activation. Open a ticket at http://support.vectoralgorithmics.io/ before setting it up so the team can handle the license transfer or activation properly.

If you're adding a new broker (different broker entirely, not just a sub-account at your existing broker), the connection setup will be new but your strategy license is the same.

What not to do

• Don't try to deactivate or move your license yourself — license handling is managed by the Vector team to avoid lockouts.
• If something seems off (a strategy not enabling on a new account, license errors), open a ticket; don't restart or reinstall before checking.
