What This Guide Covers

This guide walks you through installing the Replikanto NinjaScript add-on on NinjaTrader, running from inside your VPS.

It picks up immediately after you have purchased your Replikanto license and received the order confirmation email.

NOTE: All of the steps below must be performed inside the VPS, not on your local computer. If you download Replikanto on your local machine and try to copy it over, the installation will not work because the license is tied to the VPS machine.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure:

• You have completed the Replikanto purchase. See: How to Purchase Replikanto Flowbots (Single Machine Lifetime License).
• You have the confirmation email with the download link from Replikanto.
• NinjaTrader is installed and working on the VPS.
• You are connected to the VPS (not running these steps locally).

1. Open the Confirmation Email Inside the VPS

Inside the VPS, open the confirmation email you received from Replikanto and click the link that takes you to the Downloads section of your Replikanto account.

NOTE: Open the email and click the link from inside the VPS, not from your local machine. The downloaded file must end up on the VPS so it can be imported into the NinjaTrader installation that holds the license.

2. Download the Correct Replikanto Installer

On the Downloads page, you will see three download options for Replikanto. They are all the same Replikanto version — what differs is which NinjaTrader version each one is compatible with:

Pick the download that matches the NinjaTrader version installed on your VPS. If you are unsure which NinjaTrader version you are running, open NinjaTrader and check Help → About.

Click the green Download button next to the matching row and save the file to the VPS (the default Downloads folder is fine).

NOTE: Take note of where the file was saved — you will need to point NinjaTrader at it in the next step.

3. Import the Add-on into NinjaTrader

Open NinjaTrader on the VPS, then:

1. Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-on…
2. In the file picker, browse to the location where you saved the Replikanto installer in Step 2.
3. Select the Replikanto file and click Open.
4. Confirm any prompts NinjaTrader shows to complete the import.

4. Restart NinjaTrader

Once the import completes, close NinjaTrader completely and then reopen it.

NOTE: The restart is required. Replikanto’s components are loaded at NinjaTrader startup, and the installation will not finish wiring itself in until NinjaTrader is restarted.

5. Log Back In and Verify

After NinjaTrader has restarted, log back in to NinjaTrader.

Replikanto should now be installed and ready to use on the VPS.

What to Do If Something Goes Wrong

NOTE: If Replikanto does not appear available after restarting NinjaTrader, the most common causes are:

• The installer was downloaded outside the VPS and copied in — re-download it from inside the VPS directly.
• The wrong download option was used for your NinjaTrader version — go back to the Downloads page, check Help → About in NinjaTrader to confirm your version, and re-download the matching row.
• NinjaTrader was not fully closed before restarting — close all NinjaTrader windows and processes, then reopen.
