Our Discord server is a bonus community space offered to Vector Algorithmics clients. It is not part of the products or services included in your signed contract — it's an extra benefit we provide so you can connect with other members, participate in strategy discussions, and stay in the loop on updates.
Because this is a privilege and not an entitlement, all members are expected to follow the community guidelines outlined in this article. Members who do not follow these guidelines will be removed from the server at the sole discretion of the Vector Algorithmics team.
This is one of the most important things to know about our Discord. The Vector Algorithmics team will never send you a direct message on Discord — not about payments, not about account issues, not about "special offers," not about anything.
Unfortunately, Discord servers in the trading space attract scammers who add clients as friends or DM them pretending to be part of the Vector team. They may copy our branding, use similar usernames, or claim to represent "Vector support."
All official communication from our team happens in two places: 1. Inside the public Vector Discord channels (visible to everyone — if you're unsure whether a message is real, check whether it was posted in a channel vs. sent privately) 2. Through the help desk (support tickets and replies from our support portal)
If you receive a DM claiming to be from Vector, ignore it and report it to our team via support ticket. Never click links, never share credentials, never send payments based on a Discord DM.
Your problem is more important to you than to anyone else, so the fastest way to get answers is usually to look for them yourself before waiting on someone else to respond.
Before posting a question or opening a ticket: 1. Check the Vector Knowledge Base — most common questions (setup, strategy behavior, troubleshooting, platform issues) have a dedicated article. 2. Use the Discord search bar at the top of the server — chances are, someone has already asked the same question, and the answer is already posted. 3. Read the pinned messages and #announcements in the relevant channels.
Posting "has anyone experienced X?" without searching first often means waiting hours for an answer that's already available in 30 seconds. Search first, then ask if you can't find it.
If you can't find your invite link, open a support ticket to request a new one.
The purpose of this community is high-value discussion about strategies, market observations, and trading insights. Here's how to get the most out of it:
Complaining about losing days, venting frustration, or posting emotionally charged negativity is strictly prohibited. Trading involves losing days — this is normal and expected. Emotional reactions drag down the entire community and offer no value.
Not allowed: "This algo is trash, I lost money today." Allowed: "Had a rough day — the strategy triggered multiple trades during low volume. Curious if others saw similar results and how you're thinking about it."
Treat every member with respect. We're all learning and trading at different levels. No judgment, no condescension, no personal attacks. Ask for help freely — no question is too basic, and someone has probably had the same one.
Do not post links to external trading groups, competing services, referral links, or any form of self-promotion. This is a Vector Algorithmics community — keep it Vector-focused.
Our Discord server includes voice channels where you can listen to and participate in live discussions with the team and other members.
Voice access is granted based on your membership level. If you can hear other people talking but cannot speak yourself, you need to request voice permissions. To request access, open a support ticket with your Discord username and we'll enable it for you.
Click on the voice channel name in the Discord sidebar. You'll automatically connect and can start listening. If you have speaking permissions, unmute yourself to participate.
If you've been granted voice access but still can't speak: - Check that your microphone isn't muted in Discord (mic icon at the bottom of the Discord window) - Verify the correct mic is selected in Discord Settings → Voice & Video → Input Device - Try switching between Voice Activity and Push to Talk in Voice & Video settings - Make sure your browser or desktop app has OS-level permission to access your microphone
Members who violate the community guidelines will receive a warning. Repeated or serious violations will result in permanent removal from the Discord server. Since Discord access is a bonus and not part of the contracted product scope, removal is at the sole discretion of the Vector Algorithmics team.
For anything related to your account, strategies, VPS, or platform setup, open a support ticket through our help desk. Support requests posted in Discord channels will not be tracked or responded to — the support ticket system is how our team handles those.

The Vector Discord is a community perk — a place to learn alongside other clients, celebrate wins, and discuss strategy behavior constructively. Help yourself first by searching the knowledge base and Discord before asking. Never trust a DM claiming to be from Vector (we will never DM you). Keep credentials, financial details, and emotional venting out of the channels. And remember: Discord is for community, the support portal is for support.
